Sylvie, the head of the anglage workshop, conducted a special masterclass on anglage, the hand-finishing technique that defines the beauty of the movement parts in Romain Gauthier’s watches. Attendees had the opportunity to witness Sylvie’s expertise as she demonstrated the delicate process of beveling and polishing the edges of components, a crucial step in creating an artistic timepiece. Collectors then had the chance to try their hand at polishing a movement bridge.

Following the Kamine event, Romain and Sylvie participated in the prestigious ‘Gehinkai’ VIP event at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, organized by Takashimaya. This exclusive exhibition offered another opportunity to experience Romain’s masterpieces up close. During this event, Sylvie once again lead the anglage demonstration, providing guests with an in-depth look at the craftsmanship that goes into every Romain Gauthier timepiece.
