SwissPrimeBrands Japan is delighted to announce a special Touch&Try Exhibition and order fair for the new model “Classic Moon,” which was unveiled at WATCHES & WONDERS Geneva 2024.
Laurent Ferrier, who won the Tourbillon Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) in 2023 with the Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit, has once again returned to classic design with the “Classic Moon.” The Classic collection, known for its smooth, pebble-like curves, represents Laurent Ferrier’s dedication to balance and precision. The elegant curves of the case, lugs, and gently curved bezel are all meticulously designed.
Encased in this exquisite case is the brand’s first in-house movement featuring a high-precision moon phase and annual calendar. The annual calendar automatically adjusts for months with 30 or 31 days, requiring manual correction only once a year, on March 1. The moon phase mechanism, accurate for 125 years without adjustment, features a power reserve of 80 hours indicated on the movement’s back.
The moon phase mechanism can be admired on the dial side at 6 o’clock and is artistically crafted. The aventurine glass disk, featuring the moon and stars engraved by hand and coated with Super-LumiNova, The disk is made of blue translucent Grand-Feu enamel, giving it a beautiful effect.
The watches will be exhibited during July consecutively at one of the four official retailers in Japan according to the schedule below.
